The Big Knights DVD really is happening!
So, I realise there is a certain amount of concern that The Big Knights DVD may never materialise and that all this is a dream, etc!
Well, take yourself a seat, relax and rest assured that it is coming!
I’m excited to report that right here, TheBigKnights.net will be the FIRST place you can find out the official DVD release date!!
We have been given the honourable task of breaking the news to you all. Unfortunately, not quite yet …. sorry! I’m going to try to avoid saying it will be ‘soon’ but that really is the best word for it! 😉
There will also be an EXCLUSIVE COMPETITION, for which the details and prizes are being worked out.
In other news, there are no plans for an official Big Knights website so we will remain the place to be for The Big Knights online (unofficial official?). With that in mind, we’re going to give the website a complete overhaul and redesign, hopefully bringing you some new Big Knights content while we’re at it.
Before the comments come flooding in (they’re always welcome by the way) there’s no set deadline for the overhaul so let’s just call it ‘over the summer’ for now.
Some people have been asking for a mailinglist or twitter feed, one or the other is on its way. (May I take this opportunity to point out that lovely large shiny RSS link in the top right though… go on subscribe, you might like it! 😉 judging by the amount the hits rocket on post days lots of you already do)

Absolutely Blaze! I think lots of people are more used to Twitter with it’s popularity and all.
As for the mailing-list, that idea has been floating around for a while now but we’ve not got round to it.

While I haven’t tried these services myself, if any readers are deperate for a Twitter feed, they could try using something like rss2twitter ( http://rss2twitter.com/ ) or Twitterfeed ( http://twitterfeed.com/ ) to convert the RSS feed to Twitter posts.
Haven’t tried them myself at all, so I don’t know how or how well they work, just thought I’d mention it.

Much Rejoice. The big knights is on pre-order from am*zon with a release date of 25th Oct. My family are going to get the best X-mas prezzie EVER! – a copy. EACH! Better still, I’m finally going to succeed in my personal quest – to see the episodes that did not appear in my beloved worn out VHS. Seeing as I posted the news first, do I get a prize? If not, who cares, THE BIG KNIGHTS ARE COMING!

My pre-order for 3 disc packs is in with Amazon. Fantastic!
I was very confused looking for the Blu-Ray until I noticed that the DVD includes a ‘Free Blu-Ray’. Most perplexing: as the Blu-Ray is the premium product then wouldn’t it make more sense to offer a Blu-Ray with a free DVD?!
Anyway, nit-picking, I’m delighted to say the least.
One question that needs answering though: Is the full series issued on this DVD replicated as the full series on the Blu-Ray or is the latter a sampler? Kind of important that.
This is a happy day. 🙂
